One Day My Soul Just Opened up

Quoted from another Topic.
" One day my soul just opened up" by Iyanla Vanzant. - 40 days and 40 nights toward spiritual strength and personal growth -

It is really helping me. I like the way she writes , it makes you feel as if she is sitting right next to you, very open with her personal experiences.
some passages made me feel uncomfortable - places I didn't want to look at, truths about myself, that I avoided dealing with. And I am sure there are more to come, since I am still working with the book through my clutter
.
Here is a quote from the book:
" This book is dedicated to Ego,
that part of us that continues to worry,
lives in doubt,
is afraid,
judges other people,
is afraid to trust.
needs proof,
belives only when it is convenient.
fails to follow up,
refuses to practice what it preaches.
needs to be rescued.
wants to be a victim,
beats up on "self",
needs to be right all of the time, and continues
to hold on to what does not work.
You are now put on notice that...
YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED!"

Maybe you can find the book in a store , take a look at it and see if it talks to you.

Dear Helen,

I really like the quotes,.. haha>sounds down to the nitty gritty! I want to read this book and am going to look for it or order it. I love the title, too... Sounds like a natural opening experience without pretense..

Thanks for sharing this special book.. :)

Greetings, Gai,

And no, I did not paint the avatar, :( :( :( , wish I could paint like that.
I got it of a web-side that hosts the art of a painter named Wieslaw Sarduski.
There are many more art-thingies on there that I find very spiritual, some of them make me wonder if we watched the same show in our dreams,   .
Here is the address of the web side http://www.wisarts.com/index.html
I hope I did this right and it shows up as a link. Enjoy this side for sore eyes.

this is a wonderful book. I read through it and I gave it to a friend who was in greater need than I.
