I am a great fan of PC, but if this is the way forward, I won't be buying his books. This book is way underdone, and is simply riding on his reputation. If you are dead keen to learn something of Wicca, maybe it will interest you, but there is no great learning here, other than that.

Dear Geoff
Thanks for the warning. I am a Coelho fan too, but have noticed
- as with many authors - that some books are less interesting
than others. By the River Piedra is a wonderful lovestory as well
as a story about spirtual awakening. I highly recommend it to
anyone who have not yet read it. The Alchemist and Veronica
Decides to Die have meant a lot to me.
Coelho opened The Door for me. I would not have connected the
11:11 signs with the spiritual world without him, or it would have
take much longer.

Dear Maria,
I have to say this is the first time I have been upset. I have I think read every single one. I disliked the Manual, but that's because it was composed of extracts from short newspaper articles, and did not have a flow to it. The Valkeries I think explained him best to me.

Hi Geoff, although i have read four of his books i haven't read the one you mentioned.
The last book by Coelho i read was The Zahir. I found it to be so unlike his others. The Zahir seemed to stroke his own ego. Maybe i'm wrong but i think maybe the fame has affecting his writing. I hope i'm wrong because he is such a taleneted story teller.
