Angels or Midwayers associated with bears?

Post by Wild River Rose »

Hello,
I was listening to an Angelic invocation for Manifestation for the Summer Solstice and the image of a bear (grizzly) appeared in my mind's eye. even now when I think of it, the bear appears - just the head - not unfriendly- moving as if trying to communicate. I'm wondering if any Angels or Midwayers use a bear as a symbol.

Many thanks,
Monica

Thanks Blue Nova! I will look into Animal totems. I find it interesting that the image of the bear came to me so stongly when I was invoking the Angels, particularly the Angel of Manifestation, to harness the energy of the Summer Solstice...

I don't know if this is anything, but I was visited by a grizzly bear in a recent dream. Pretty interesting! I'd be interested in what you find out.

Hi Rebecca - Nice to meet you :)

I Googled Animal Totems - there are a number of sites. - Far to many explanations and meaning to post. But, a commonality I found was that to dream of a grizzly bear represents a Spirit Guide.

Morning,
My mind is a blank right now but there is a book which gives the meanings for all of the animals. Can anyone remember the title?
Nice forum by the way!

Hi Monica,

You may also be able to find a couple of useful books at your local book store. I think the author's name is "Ted Andrews", who write extensively about animal spirit guides, totems, etc.

Bears are wonderful! I recently watched a documentary with a guy who had been living with bears in the Alaskan wilderness for like 25 years. Amazing!

Hi Kellie and Daddy-o - thanks for the author of the book on Animal totems, guides, etc. Have you seen the Dicumentary Grizzly Man - It chronicles the life and death of bear enthusiast Timothy Treadwell, who ultimately died at the hand , or paw of a bear. He came to relate more with bears than people...

Hi guys, hey Monica I saw that film with the kids and they were abit shocked about his
outrage towards that critter who nicked his cap...forgot what it was, a squirrel??
Yes, very moving film and a terrible tragedy at the end. (It was a rogue bear, not one he
was known to, that had attacked them.)
