Greetings everyone. Peace and love to everybody. My name is Oscar, I'm from Colombia.

As my first message I would like to ask for healing of my loved ones.

My wife has had diabetes (auto inmune type, her body attacks her insuline) for almost 12 years. We are newly weds since last december. Last year she had her sugar levels on check. She was using less insuline. This year she is using more insuline, which makes her gain weight (more weight more insuline, just like a circle, kind of familiar isn't?).

My father has a tumor in his colon which was recently discovered. He is going through radio and chemotherapy until early october. After this he is going to have surgery to remove the tumor (hopefully already shrunk). He is 76 years old. He seems to be responding well to the treatment, for the time being.

I know that death is just the begining and I do not fear for them nor me. But we recently are discovering our true purpose on our home planet, and I would like, if it's our Father's will, for them to heal.

Thank you for joining our board and allowing us to pray for your beloved family. With your permission I would like to send the information you provided here to my husband, George, so that he can pass along this healing request to a larger circle of reiki, spirit and distant healers all over the world.

George and I are no strangers to diabetes... There is a doctor in the US, Doctor Gabriel Cousins who has specialises in diabetes for over 40 years. He wrote a book that speaks of healing diabetes via diet. I read it years ago and although the diet is restricting in some ways, this doctor has had much success in reversing the effects of diabetes and even healing it. It could be something to look into... Be warned though many people with little information on his research and successes, do love to criticise this man and his approach. So I give you this information not as a recommendation but rather something to possibly look into as you look for a healthy life for your new wife.

It was a pleasure to join the board. Yes Sandy, you have my permission to share this information with George and everyone you guys consider should know.

I've been reading the list of messages for a while now, so I know about George's diabetes. Doctor Gabriel Cousins is not the only one who believes that diet can heal diabetes. In Colombia there is another doctor who believes so, Dr. Carlos Jaramillo and he wrote "El Milagro Metabólico" (spanish speakers, it is a great book), which speaks not only healing most of the diseases through healing, but also diabetes.

We will get Doctor Gabriel's book and we will give it a shot. I do believe that people think that science has always the last say in health issues. But if injected insuline was the answer, there wouldn't be the need for its prolonged use, wouldn't it? There still so much to discover in nature. Also if we always follow the critics and what people think, I believe I wouldn't be in this wonderful board.

Hi Oscar,

I sent your wife and Fathers information to George who will get them to the healing circle tonight. 'We will think of you and the family now every time on the daily world news they give the weather for parts of Columbia.
We are amazed that poor Caracas is always raining. Of course I would love it there. I adore the rain.

There is also a thread easy to miss under the Urantia book forum called UB cooking. Rod started this with recipes he has created and some he has discovered that are healthy and mostly good for diabetes. I just tried his apple cake which was delicious and had no sugar. It did have some apple and raisins so little portions are important but it didn't upset George's blood sugar drastically like most foods of that sort do.

Thank you for posting the book on healthy control of diabetes for the Spanish speaking community and Dr. Carlos Jaramillo. It is good to know that there is growing awareness all over the world in better ways to take control our health.
